Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment seeks a Quantity Surveyor for a permanent role in Manchester within the water industry. You will manage payments, CVRs, cost forecasts and commercial performance, ensuring contract obligations are met and strong client relationships are maintained.

Ideal candidates have NEC3/4 knowledge, a Quantity Surveying degree, and proven numerical/analytical skills. This on-site role requires robust cost control and effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the water industry.
• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Good understanding of NEC3/4 contracts.
• Strong grasp of commercial processes and project cost management.
• Excellent numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
• Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit and track applications for payment
• Monitor certificates, invoices and payment schedules
• Raise Early Warning Notices (EWNs) and manage change, requests and variations
• Produce and present monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs)
• Support estimates and cost forecasts
• Track project costs, purchase orders and commercial performance
• Review contracts and ensure obligations are met
• Prepare subcontract documentation and support subcontract management
• Build strong relationships with client commercial teams
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities
