Water Hygiene Technician / Trainee Water Hygiene Technician – Staffordshire – Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 (dependent on experience)
Franks Portlock is a leading environmental management consultancy that provides water hygiene and treatment services. We help maintain safe water systems within any premises you own or occupy, in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, enabling you to be fully compliant with HSE's L8 ACOP. We are UKAS accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 and 17020 with offices based in London, Midlands, the North East and North West of England and Rosyth.
The role will be undertaking all aspects of Water Hygiene related work, mainly dealing with the requirements within the HSG 274 part 2. The role also offers full training and support to kick start a career in the Water Industry. A full clean driving licence is required. The Technician will be covering the Severn Trent area.
You must be able to communicate at all levels as you will be customer facing for most of your time. The area covered is nationwide so you must be willing to travel and stay away from home as and when required.
Essential experience required include the duties listed in the Responsibilities section. Experience with expansion vessel flushing, cold water inspection, and legionella risk assessment is essential. Experience in cry installing or similar is desired but not essential.
