Job summary

Fern Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Water Hygiene Technician in the Birmingham area. Salary ranges from £25,000 to £28,000, with a company van (for private use) and a comprehensive benefits package.

The role involves on-site field work at various sites within two hours of Birmingham, mainly targeting commercial sectors such as offices, retail, education and healthcare. Full training will be provided on all aspects of legionella compliance, with a clear progression path within the team

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Full driving license and willingness to work field-based.
• Ability to pass a DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Temperature monitoring/testing of tap outlets and tanks.
• Cleaning, descaling and disinfection of shower heads and hoses.
• Inspecting/Cleaning of water tanks.
• TMV Servicing.
• Water Sampling.
• Maintaining site logbooks.

Water Hygiene Technician - Birmingham

Specialist water hygiene and treatment consultancy are offering a Water Hygiene Technician position for an applicant who is looking to break into the water sector. Working on a range of sites including Offices, Retail, Education and Healthcare, work will be within 2 hours of Birmingham and will focus on the commercial sector.

Typical work for the Water Hygiene Technician will include

• Temperature monitoring/testing of tap outlets and tanks
• Cleaning, descaling and disinfection of shower heads and hoses
• Inspecting/Cleaning of water tanks
• TMV Servicing
• Water Sampling
• Maintaining site logbooks

The Water Hygiene Technician will receive full training on all areas of legionella compliance, so if you want to work in a manual field-based position then this is the role for you.

Required background
