Fern Recruitment Limited in Coventry is seeking two Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer to support commercial and large residential sites across the Midlands. Salary £26k-£28k plus van, overtime and benefits.

The role focuses on training with a dedicated mentor, a standard 40-hour week, and occasional travel. Applicants should have 6+ months’ water hygiene experience (or related service sector), a full driving license, and strong communication skills. DBS clearance or ability to pass is required.

Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer - Coventry

£26000-£28000 + Van + Overtime + Benefits

My client a water treatment consultancy is expanding their hygiene division and are offering 2 Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer positions to cover commercial and large residential sites in the Midlands area. Some work may be a little further afield but any stay aways are planned to ensure they don't impact on outside work activities.

To apply the Water Hygiene Technician will have the following experience

• 6+ months experience either working as a Water Hygiene Engineer or Water Hygiene Technician
• Alternatively previous experience working in a manual or building services environment with an eagerness to learn a new market.
• Full driving license
• Excellent communication skills
• Either DBS cleared or ability to pass one (sites will include - Schools, Offices, Care Homes

Key duties for the Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer will include:

• Shower/Tap descales
• Water monitoring and sampling
• Tank inspections/cleans
• TMV Servicing

Previous experience would be beneficial, but the role is focussed on training and development including giving you a mentor to help develop your career. Overtime is optional and readily available, and you will work to a 40-hour week.
