PTSG Water Treatment is hiring for a mobile, field-based position covering the York area. This permanent full-time role involves visiting customer sites to ensure water systems are safe and compliant, with responsibilities including tank cleaning, chlorination, and installation of Thermostatic Mixing Valves.

Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and City & Guilds Legionella Awareness Training, with enhanced DBS and BPSS clearance expected.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to customer sites to ensure water systems are safe and compliant across the region.
• Inspect and clean water storage vessels, including leading tank chlorinations.
• Install and service Thermostatic Mixing Valves and conduct routine monitoring per HSG 274 Part 2.
• Flushing water outlets, monitoring temperatures, descaling showerheads and flushing pressure vessels.
• Perform sampling for closed water systems and manage workload using the SimPRO system.

What you'll be doing:

As a key part of our team, you'll travel to customer sites, ensuring water systems are safe and compliant across the region. Your day will involve essential tasks like inspecting and cleaning water storage vessels (including leading on tank chlorinations), installing and servicing Thermostatic Mixing Valves, and conducting routine monitoring tasks in line with HSG 274 Part 2. This means you'll be flushing water outlets, monitoring temperatures, descaling showerheads, flushing pressure vessels, and performing crucial sampling for closed water systems.

You'll also expertly use our SimPRO system to manage your workload. Your ability to spot problems and proactively find solutions, combined with your detailed knowledge of HSE's ACoP L8 and HSG274, will be vital in maintaining our professional and compliant reputation.

You'll need a full, clean UK driving licence and have City & Guilds Legionella Awareness Training, equivalent or suitable industry experience to succeed in this role.
