Job summary

SOCOTEC UK Ltd is seeking a Water Hygiene Plumber to support its Environment & Safety division. You will work on water hygiene services, with independence and teamwork as needed, applying ACOP L8 and HSG 274 knowledge to protect clients’ systems.

The role requires a recognised NVQ/C&G plumbing qualification and a UK driving licence, with opportunities to grow within a national testing, inspection and certification network.

Qualifications

• NVQ/C&G plumbing qualification required.
• Knowledge of Legionella Control (L8) and HSG274 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plumbing remedial work.
• Clean and chlorination of tanks.
• Chlorination of water systems.
• TMV servicing including full servicing and fail-safe testing.
• Calorifier inspections.
• RPZ servicing.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to follow set methods and procedures.
• IT literacy with handheld devices.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Water Hygiene Plumber to join our Environment & Safety team. In this role, you'll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in water hygiene services, along with knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274, is essential to thrive in this position. The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

Responsibilities

• Plumbing remedial work
