Job summary

212 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer/Water Hygiene Technician to join our busy team on a permanent basis, covering the West Midlands area. You will perform routine monitoring in line with ACoP L8, collect water samples from client premises, and carry out valve servicing, disinfection, and tank inspections as part of ongoing water hygiene management.

The role requires prior relevant experience, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to pass a DBS check.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the role essential.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Must be able to pass a DBS check.
• Excellent communication & problem solving skills.
• Previous plumbing experience would be advantageous though not essential.

• Low use outlet flushing.
• Clean/descale shower heads/taps.
• Take water temperatures from various outlets.
• Inspect water tanks.
• Conduct analysis from closed water systems.
• Thermostatic mixing valve servicing (TMV).
• Localised disinfection of outlets.
