Job summary

Genex seeks a Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor to join its Water Compliance team in the UK. The role blends routine water hygiene tasks with risk assessments across commercial, industrial and public sector properties.

You will work independently to help clients stay compliant with current legislation and industry guidance, while delivering high-quality service. The role offers growth opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Commercial hot and cold-water systems (essential).
• Experience in commercial, healthcare or industrial environments.
• Level 3 Award in Legionella Control for Responsible Persons (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Carry out Legionella Risk Assessments in accordance with ACOP L8, HSG274 guidelines.
• Inspect domestic hot and cold water systems across client sites.
• Produce accurate risk assessment reports with practical recommendations.
• Present findings to clients and discuss recommendations.
• Maintain inspection records and technical documentation.
