Fern Recruitment Limited is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to join a London-based team, covering Greater London and surrounding areas. The role offers a salary of £30,000–£35,000 with a company van, overtime opportunities, and a benefits package.

Full training is provided across legionella control disciplines including CWST sampling, cooling towers, and remedials. Ideal candidates will have experience with temperature monitoring, CWST inspections, and reporting.

Qualifications

Experience in water hygiene and legionella control.
Knowledge of CWST, thermal disinfection and sampling procedures.
Ability to perform site inspections and produce clear reports.
Willingness to travel regionally across Greater London.

Responsibilities

Conduct temperature monitoring of hot and cold water systems.
Carry out inspections and take samples of CWSTs (cleans and disinfections).
Perform Cold Water Storage Tank inspections and related tasks.
Carry out Calorifier blowdowns and TMV servicing/calibration.
Clean and descale shower heads and outlets as required.
Attend water heater and calorifier inspections.
Write comprehensive reports on completed jobs.

Water Hygiene Engineer - Greater London (regional work provided)

£30000-£35000 + Van + Overtime + Benefits

Our client is a Water Treatment Consultancy with multiple offices across the UK, they are currently looking to expand their water hygiene London team of 10 and require an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer ideally with some basic remedials knowledge to join the business working on commercial contracts including NHS, Industrial, Retail and MoD (Greater London and surrounding areas).

Full training is offered across various services of legionella control including Closed System Analysis/Sampling, Cooling Towers and Remedials but it is expected the successful Water Hygiene Engineer will have as many of the following as possible

Temperature Monitoring of Hot and Cold-water systems,
Carrying out inspections and samples of CWST including cleans and disinfections
Cold Water Storage Tank inspections
Calorifier Blowdowns
Shower heads & outlets cleaning & descaling
TMV Servicing & Calibration
Water Heater Inspections (Calorifiers etc.)
Writing out reports on completed jobs

The Water Hygiene Engineer will be given regional work across London to minimise travel and an extensive benefits package including a personalised training program from internal and external courses, company van, fuel card and tablet.
