Job summary

Large Water Compliance Consultancy is actively seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover contracts in the London area. The role involves sampling, monitoring, descales, tank inspections and cleans, with incidental remedial plumbing work where required.

The candidate should have 3+ years' experience, a full UK driving licence and a DBS check. A van, fuel card, mobile and iPad are provided as part of a benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Water Hygiene Engineer with sampling and monitoring experience.
• Experience with descaling and tank cleans is desirable.
• DBS checked and full UK driving licence required.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills are essential.
• Remedial plumbing experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Routine temperature monitoring of hot and cold-water systems.
• Remedial plumbing works including leaks and valve repairs.

Water Hygiene Engineer

£30000-£35000 + Van + Benefits (overtime available)

Large Water Compliance Consultancy is actively looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join their growing team and cover contracts in the London area. The Water Hygiene Engineer will cover a range of duties including Sampling, Monitoring, Descales, Tank Inspections and Cleans and where needed Remedial Plumbing work.

Key duties for the Water Hygiene Engineer role will include

• Water sampling in line with ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidelines
• Routine temperature monitoring of hot and cold-water systems.
• Remedial plumbing works including fixing leaks, faulty valves, pipework, deadleg removals.
• Water storage tank inspections, cleans and disinfections.
• Maintaining site logbooks

Experience required for the Water Hygiene Engineer

• 3+ years working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
• Knowledge carrying out sampling, temperature monitoring, descaling, and tank cleans
• Remedials plumbing experience beneficial.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence
• DBS checked

The Water Hygiene Engineer role will come with full training including closed systems, plumbing, cooling towers and steam boilers plus a benefits package - van, fuel card, mobile, overtime and ipad. You will cover a range of sites including health care, education, retail and offices and will work as part of a larger team.
