Job summary

212 Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer/Technician to join our busy team on a permanent basis. The role reports to the Service Delivery Manager and includes monitoring in line with ACoP L8, water sampling, TMV servicing, and outlet disinfection.

The ideal candidate will have previous water hygiene experience, a valid UK driving licence, and the ability to pass a DBS check with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Plumbing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the role essential.
• A full UK driving licence is required.
• Must be able to pass a DBS check.
• Excellent communication & problem solving skills are essential.
• Previous plumbing experience would be advantageous though not essential.

Responsibilities

• Log work and log admin tasks (tablet provided).
• Routine monitoring in line with ACoP L8.
• Collect water samples from customer premises.
• Low use outlet flushing.
• Clean/descale shower heads and taps.
• Take water temperatures from outlets.
• Inspect water tanks.
• Conduct analysis from closed water systems.
• TMV servicing.
• Localised disinfection of outlets.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer/Water Hygiene Technician to join our clients busy team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the role will involve:

• Complete admin tasks to log work (tablet will be provided)
• Routine monitoring in line with ACoP L8
• Collection of water samples from customer premises
• Low use outlet flushing
• Clean/descale shower heads/taps
• Take water temperatures from various outlets
• Inspect water tanks
• Conduct analysis from closed water systems
• Thermostatic mixing valve servicing (TMV)
• Localised disinfection of outlets

The successful Water Hygiene Engineer/Technician will have:

• Previous experience within the role essential
• A full UK driving licence
• Must be able to pass a DBS check
• Excellent communication & problem solving skills

Previous plumbing experience would be advantageous though not essential.

Working hours:

• Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00
• Occasional Saturday (overtime)
