Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover contracts across the Midlands region, including Solihull. You will perform pre-planned water hygiene duties, TMV inspections, showerhead descales, sampling and temperature monitoring across client sites.

Responsibilities

• Attending client sites to complete pre-planned water hygiene duties.
• Showerhead disinfections.
• TMV inspections and maintenance.
• Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks.
• Chlorinations.
• Replacing flexihoses.
• Deadleg removals.
• Routine water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• Updating site logbooks.

Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer

Location: Solihull, West Midlands

Salary/Benefits: £26k - £35k + Training & Benefits

We are recruiting for a hardworking Water Hygiene Engineer to cover a range of contracts across the Midlands region. You will be joining a growing and successful Water Hygiene / Legionella industry. They provide the full range of services to clients, including: plumbing and legionella risk assessing, and training into these areas can be implemented for the successful candidate. Daily duties include: TMV servicing, showerhead descales and sampling / monitoring regimes. Locations of work include: Solihull, Coventry, Marston Green, Royal Leamington Spa, Rugby, Leicester, Hinckley, Nuneaton, Tamworth, Swadlincote, Burton upon Trent, Loughborough, Nottingham, Lichfield, Cannock, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley, West Bromwich, Halesowen, Stourbridge, Stafford, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Droitwich Spa, Kidderminster.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit
• Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Will have worked across a range of client sites, including: commercial, domestic and local authority
• It would be advantageous to hold some plumbing / remedial experience
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Proficient using IT software
