Job summary

Future Select is recruiting a Water Hygiene Engineer for a national team based in the South East, with work across Hertfordshire and surrounding counties. The role focuses on ACOP L8 compliance duties for a variety of premises, including commercial, local authority and public sector sites.

You will perform pre-planned compliance tasks, carry out showerhead and outlet descales, TMV servicing, tank inspections and disinfections, calorifier checks, water sampling, reporting, and you must be willing

Qualifications

• Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer and knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274
• Ability to work independently on site
• Good literacy and numeracy skills, and IT software proficiency
• Willingness to travel as required by company needs

Responsibilities

• Carrying out a wide range of pre-planned compliance tasks
• Showerhead and outlet descales
• TMV servicing, maintenance and failsafe checks
• Tank inspections, cleans and disinfections
• Calorifier inspections
• Basic flushing on outlets
• Water sampling and temperature monitoring

• Working within agreed timeframes

Due to continued business growth, a national Water Hygiene specialist is recruiting for their team in the South East of England. They are looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer, who is well-versed in conducting ACOP L8 compliance duties. Ideally, applicants will have experience operating across a range of premises, including: commercial, local authority and public sector. Most works will be reguional, however, we are seeking someone who is happy to travel in line with company needs, as our client holds a presence across the UK.
