Job Purpose
As a Water Events Performance Analyst, you will report to the Water Events Managers. You will support the ongoing performance and development of all Event Analysts within the Monitoring and Control team in the ICC. Working closely with the leadership team, you will develop a high performing team, contribute to new ways of working. You will also be responsible for supporting new starters by implementing and overseeing a robust training plan.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Ensure all reactive events, incidents, and planned interruptions across the water network are managed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, providing feedback and coaching where required (including interruptions to supply and Water Quality events).
- Analyse data quality dashboards to ensure accurate event reporting for post-event validation and regulatory compliance. Develop ad hoc reports using corporate systems to identify performance trends and areas for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement by developing new ways of working and processes aligned with water network Operational Delivery Incentives. Maintain and update training packs for new starters and team development.
- Provide regular feedback on individual performance using dashboards, conduct quarterly one-to-one sessions, and identify trends to enhance team efficiency and process improvements within the Water Network teams.
- Proactively identify network issues through telemetry and customer data, respond efficiently to asset failures, coordinate Water Quality events, support GIS activity, facilitate incident meetings, deliver technical training, and assist the wider Monitoring and Control team during busy periods.
Technical Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in coaching, training, and managing performance to enhance team effectiveness.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in resolving technical issues. In-depth understanding of water event triggers, processes, and service level agreements.
- Awareness of key stakeholders affected by events/incidents, alongside sound knowledge of escalation procedures, regulatory frameworks, and Operational Delivery Incentives (ODI).
- High proficiency in INS systems and other relevant Water Network corporate systems, with the ability to extract, analyse, and interpret complex data.
- Strong technical knowledge of the water network, including incident procedures within the ICC, ensuring effective response and resolution.

Essential Qualifications
- Educated to at least GCSE level (including ‘C' or above passes in English and Mathematics)
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous Event management experience.
- Experience training/coaching team members.
