Job summary
Egis UK is seeking a Design Programme Lead to drive complex water design programmes across the Midlands. You will coordinate multidisciplinary design teams (civil, structural, MEICA), align outputs with client strategy, and ensure design excellence from concept to construction.
You will report to Delivery Business Lead, lead governance, manage interfaces, and champion innovation and sustainability. A proven water sector leader with chartership and strong contract awareness is ideal; hybrid
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in the water sector delivering major and complex projects.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary design and delivery teams.
- Strong client focus and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of NEC and JCT contract frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design programme delivery across water projects.
- Establish design governance, technical assurance, and milestones.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams to ensure integration.
- Drive design reviews, risk management and value engineering.
- Support commercial and contract oversight with design input.
