Water Compliance Engineer - FM Service Provider - Commercial Buildings – Up to £50,000

CBW is recruiting a Water Compliance Engineer for three commercial buildings in London: Stratford, White City, and Croydon. The ideal candidate will have experience in water treatment and plumbing. The role offers a competitive salary up to £50,000, overtime, and training.

Package & Working hours

• Up to £50,000
• Monday to Friday 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
• No Call out
• 25 days holiday + Bank holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing of cooling towers and closed systems.
• Manage Log Book Ownership.
• Work with Chilled Water systems.
• Provide detailed reports on tasks undertaken.
• Review Risk Assessment documents and schematic drawings.
• Analyze water sample results and advise on remediation.
• Consult with the Principal Engineer on microbiological and public health issues.
• Assist clients with control scheme failures and system reviews.
• Conduct site visits for system reviews and investigations.
• Perform water flushing, disinfection, and chemical dosing.
• Survey hot and cold water systems.
• Carry out basic plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
• Knowledge of equipment like Calorifiers, Cooling Towers, Circulation pumps, and Water softeners.

Requirements

• City and Guilds in Plumbing and Water Treatment.
• Legionella control certification.
• Experience with microbiological analysis of water samples.
• Knowledge of dosing in closed systems and water system remediation.
• Understanding of relevant legislation and guidance.
