Job summary

Henley Chase is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead water and civil engineering projects across the UK. You will take projects from planning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

You will manage programme and budgets, lead project teams and subcontractors, maintain client relationships and produce progress reports. The role requires travel to project sites across the UK as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in water and/or civil engineering.
• Experience delivering infrastructure, utilities, water treatment and drainage projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, programmes and delivery.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Commercial awareness with budgets, variations and costs.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage water and civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Take responsibility for programme, budget, quality and delivery.
• Lead project teams, subcontractors and site personnel.
• Manage client relationships and attend progress meetings.
• Develop and monitor project programmes and key milestones.
• Control project costs, variations, valuations and commercial performance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
• Ensure works comply with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Identify and manage risks and mitigation measures.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Produce regular project reports and progress updates.
• Deliver projects in line with contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with commercial, engineering and site teams.
