Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to lead design teams on water sector projects. You will manage delivery, safety, and budgets while collaborating with clients and cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Chartered status or progression towards ICE/CIWEM preferred.
• Experience leading engineering design teams and managing budgets/schedules.
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of project delivery including health & safety, technical, quality, schedule and budget.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams.
• Shape delivery and identify opportunities to leverage wider WSP services internationally.
• Build relationships with clients to ensure project outcomes and satisfaction.
• Contribute to innovative approaches, new services and digital products.
• Support Future Ready and Net Zero initiatives.
• Mentor graduate engineers and support professional development.
• Contribute to recruitment and growth of the civil engineering team.
• Develop technical, managerial and leadership skills across projects.
