Job summary

Stantec in Edinburgh invites applicants for a Degree Apprentice (Level 6) in Civil Engineering – Water. You will join a team of 50+ civil engineers across Scotland, learning on real projects in clean water and wastewater sectors.

You will gain a Level 6 BEng Civil Engineering degree through our Training Providers with four days per week office-based work and strong mentoring from senior engineers. Successful candidates meet UCAS points and Maths/Science requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 112 UCAS points from the listed qualifications.
• Must also have 5 National 5s with Maths and English (or equivalents).
• Predicted grades acceptable per advertisement and training provider options.

Responsibilities

• Support project work across stages from planning through detailed design.
• Learn how civil engineering helps address water sector challenges.
• Assist teams on projects to improve water supply resilience.
• Develop understanding of sewer overflow solutions with learning support.
• Work with experienced colleagues throughout apprenticeship.
