Job summary

Stantec in Glasgow is offering a Degree Apprentice position (Level 6) in Civil Engineering - Water. You will join the Glasgow Civils Team and gain hands-on experience on water projects across Scotland and the UK, with mentoring from engineers across disciplines.

The programme combines supported academic study with real project delivery, including options for day-release providers like Strathclyde and Edinburgh Napier. Four days per week in the office, with progression toward chartered status.

Qualifications

• Minimum 112 UCAS points including Mathematics and English.
• Maths and English grades as specified in entry requirements.
• Interest in civil engineering and water infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Support project teams on AMP8 and DV4 water frameworks.
• Learn how civil engineering improves water supplies and wastewater networks.
• Assist with storm overflow, flooding, asset inspection and water projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues from other disciplines.
• Develop practical skills under experienced engineers.
