Job summary

Stantec is offering a Degree Apprentice (Level 6) Civil Engineer - Water in Cardiff. You will join the UK-wide Water discipline and learn from experienced engineers while building your career in civil engineering with Welsh Water as a primary client.

Spend four days a week in the Cardiff office, support feasibility through construction, use AutoCAD and Civil 3D, assist with reports and proposals, and gain a Level 6 BEng degree through a training provider. UCAS and GCSE requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum academic entry requirements listed (UCAS points, GCSEs, and subjects).
• Predicted grades must meet defined entry requirements.
• Training provider options may include day and block release.

Responsibilities

• Supporting engineering activities from feasibility to construction.
• Produce detailed calculations, analysis and drawings.
• Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other software to present designs.
• Assist in preparing reports, bids and proposals.
• Provide technical input to support the project team.
