AECOM in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to lead end-to-end work winning for our water bids, ranging £5m to £20m+. Reporting to the Work Winning Lead for Water, you will deliver high-quality proposals and collaborate with senior stakeholders across regions.

You will drive win strategies, coordinate capture activities, and ensure bids meet processes and templates. The role emphasizes communication, teamwork, and the ability to perform under tight deadlines, with hybrid working options.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex multi-disciplinary bids in the construction/engineering industry.
• Experience creating win strategies/themes to craft compelling and compliant bid responses.
• Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to work with stakeholders at all levels including senior leadership.
• Ability to work positively under pressure and deliver quality output to deadlines.
• Attention to detail, not accepting second best and taking responsibility for all aspects within control.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and manage large/complex proposals across multiple departments/regions, from capture through to interview/lessons learned.
• Oversee positioning and capture activities, facilitate win strategy workshops with key stakeholders and leadership.
• Follow best practices using AECOM processes and templates to create compliant bids.
• Lead bid stages including kickoff, planning, reviews, production and interviews, adding value as bidding SME.
• Analyze debriefs and client feedback to drive improvements and share best practices.
• Lead discrete projects to embed best practices in bidding across Water and deliver training.
• Assist Water Work Winning Lead with pipeline management and resource planning.
