Job summary

Bridges - Trusted Intelligent Engineering Partner is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to deliver control and automation solutions for water projects. The role covers design, development, testing and commissioning of PLC, SCADA and automation systems across projects, working with design, panel build and delivery teams.

You will translate client requirements into robust control solutions, develop documentation, and support on-site commissioning while ensuring safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial control systems including PLCs, SCADA and telemetry.
• Experience developing, configuring, testing and fault-finding control software.
• Ability to translate requirements into practical engineering solutions and work within timescales.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test and commission PLC, SCADA and automation systems across projects.
• Produce technical documentation (control philosophies, URS, FDS, I/O schedules, commissioning plans).
• Translate requirements into practical control system solutions; support PLC/SCADA/telemetry deployments.
• Support site teams during installation, testing and commissioning.
• Ensure solutions are safe, compliant, reliable and maintainable; manage tasks to quality, schedule and budget.
• Participate in design reviews, testing and commissioning activities.
