  • Support the development and implementation of PLC, SCADA, telemetry and instrumentation solutions.
  • Undertake system testing, fault finding and troubleshooting both within the office/workshop and on site.
  • Apply appropriate design and engineering standards to ensure solutions are safe, compliant, reliable and maintainable.
  • Take responsibility for assigned engineering tasks and work packages, ensuring they are delivered to the required quality, programme and budget.
  • Support design reviews, testing and commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaboration & Integration
  • Work closely with electrical, mechanical, design, panel build and delivery teams to ensure effective integration of control systems within wider EICA projects.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and delivery partners as required to understand technical requirements and resolve engineering issues.
  • Support site teams during installation, testing and commissioning activities.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Contribute positively to the delivery of projects and the continued development of Bridges' Systems Integration capability.
  • Build effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and supply chain partners.

  • Share knowledge and experience with colleagues and contribute to a collaborative SI team environment.
  • Seek opportunities to broaden experience across different projects, technologies and client requirements.
  • Develop towards taking greater technical responsibility as experience and competence increases.
Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve the quality, efficiency and consistency of Systems Integration delivery.
  • Support the introduction of new technologies and innovative approaches where they provide value to our clients and projects.
  • Consider whole-life performance, maintainability and sustainability when developing control system solutions.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to help improve Bridges' SI processes and technical capability.
Essential Skills:

  • Ability to manage own workload, prioritise tasks and deliver assigned work to agreed timescales.
  • Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to continued professional and technical development.
