Job summary

Actemium Automation Hampshire is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead automation and engineering projects in the water sector. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, align with customers and partners, and drive delivery safely, to spec and on time.

You will plan, monitor and report progress, manage budgets and change control, and ensure compliance with technical, quality, health, safety and environmental requirements across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience managing engineering, automation or electrical projects.
• Experience in water industry or related process industry.
• Understanding of project planning, cost control, risk management.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deliver water industry automation and engineering projects.
• Develop project programmes, budgets, forecasts and delivery plans.
• Coordinate internal engineering teams, subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and take corrective actions.
• Communicate with customers, report progress and manage meetings.
• Ensure compliance with technical, quality, health and safety requirements.
• Oversee documentation, change control, and commercial reporting.
• Support site installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Build relationships with customers and delivery partners across the water sector.
