Job summary

Vinci is seeking a Project Manager to lead water industry automation and engineering projects from planning through to handover. You will coordinate customer teams, suppliers and internal engineering groups to ensure delivery meets technical, commercial and safety requirements.

The role requires proven project management experience in engineering/automation, strong stakeholder engagement, and a proactive approach to resolving delivery challenges. Travel to customer sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering engineering or automation projects.
• Experience in water sector or related process industry.
• Strong planning, cost control, risk and change management.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Commitment to safe, high-quality delivery.
• Willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and deliver water industry automation and engineering projects throughout their lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, forecasts and delivery plans.
• Coordinate internal engineering teams, subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and put appropriate actions in place.
• Manage customer communications, expectations, project meetings and progress reporting.
• Ensure project work meets contractual, technical, quality and health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Oversee project documentation, change control, costs and commercial reporting.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning and handover activities at customer sites.
• Build effective working relationships with customers and delivery partners across the water sector.
