Job summary

OCU in Nottingham is seeking a motivated candidate for a Level 3 Water Industry Asset Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship. You'll work with engineers on water and wastewater sites, gaining hands-on experience in mechanical installation, maintenance and pipe fitting.

This 36-month program combines practical site experience with theoretical learning. Regular site travel across the country, outdoor work in all weather, and a focus on safety and teamwork are part of the role.

Qualifications

• For our Level 3 Apprenticeship, you’ll need 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade 4/C or above.
• A full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mechanical installation, maintenance and pipe fitting on water sites.
• Support repairs and routine maintenance to keep infrastructure running.
• Travel regularly to different sites across the country.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions as part of a team.
