Job summary

WSP is seeking Senior/Principal Civil Engineers to lead design teams on AMP8 water projects in the UK. This role focuses on delivering complex civil schemes, with scope across wastewater, water treatment, and network works.

Hybrid working is available, alongside mentoring and professional development opportunities. You should bring a degree in civil engineering, Chartered status or near-term progression, and a track record of delivering projects within time and budget while mentoring junior

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering (required).
• Chartered status or progression toward ICE/CIWEM (preferred).
• Experience leading civil engineering design teams.
• Experience delivering projects within budget and schedule.
• Mentoring or coaching junior staff in civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own all aspects of project delivery including health & safety, technical quality, schedule and budget.
• Manage multi-disciplinary design teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Shape service delivery and identify opportunities to expand services within WSP UK and overseas.
• Build relationships with clients to ensure project outcomes and satisfaction.
• Contribute to innovative approaches, digital products and future-ready initiatives.
