Lanes Group is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers to join our Tankering Division on a full-time basis at Goddards Green, West Sussex. You will operate vacuum tankers and support wastewater movements across the region, working five days in seven (Mon-Fri) with a competitive annual salary.

Qualifications

• HGV class 1 or 2 driving licence is required.
• Valid CPC and up-to-date tachograph (tachograph/tacho) credentials are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV-mounted vacuum tankers for drainage and waste management tasks.
• Independently manage job sites, ensuring safe practices and high-quality work.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Accurately complete job reports and system updates.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting faults promptly.
• Maintain high health and safety standards, including proper PPE use and regulatory compliance.
