Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Section Engineer for its wastewater construction team based in Hogsmill, Surrey. You will bridge design and construction, ensuring safe, on-time delivery to specification. The role requires reading and interpreting drawings, resolving design queries, and coordinating temporary works on site.

Qualifications

HNC/HND or Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
Practical experience on infrastructure or wastewater construction projects.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Full driving licence and CSCS card; site safety mindset.

Responsibilities

Interpreting design documentation and ensuring works follow drawings and specs.
Support construction teams with technical queries and resolve design conflicts.
Manage temporary works designs and approvals on site in line with requirements.
Monitor construction progress and provide technical input for reports and planning.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, CDM regulations and quality procedures.
