Job summary

Yorkshire Water is recruiting a Product & Process Technician for the Upper Brighouse WwTW site. You will perform daily operational and maintenance tasks, calibrate instruments and contribute to safe, efficient plant operation.

You will work a 37-hour week on a 7-day pattern, with weekend rota and occasional out-of-hours work, supported by training and safety procedures. A full driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn technical processes and drive improvements.
• Experience with manual and technical tasks in process-based environments.
• Willingness to work at heights and carry out manual handling duties.
• Pass medical criteria including BMI, vision, blood pressure, hearing and Spirometry tests.
• Full valid driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily routine manual and technical tasks at wastewater treatment works.
• Maintain site safety and manage contractors via Control of Work.
• Proactively optimise site processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
