Job summary

Thames Water is seeking an experienced wastewater process engineer to work under the direction of a Principal Engineer. You will provide specialist process engineering expertise across the project lifecycle, establishing technical requirements, mitigating risks and ensuring quality from design to asset handover.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, check technical outputs, and coach colleagues to build capability while supporting major infrastructure investment and sustainable outcomes for

Qualifications

• Degree in a Process Engineering discipline (or equivalent).
• Chartered Engineer status and professional membership is preferred.
• HNC or equivalent qualification with 10+ years of industry experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assess briefs, information, and engineering solutions to identify risks and maximise value.
• Provide specialist wastewater process engineering input across projects and programmes.
• Review technical requirements to ensure solutions meet standards.
• Deliver technical assurance through delivery, commissioning and handover.
• Coach and mentor colleagues to support capability development.
