Job summary

Acorn by Synergie seeks an experienced Plant Operator to support a wastewater treatment project in Oswestry under the United Utilities framework. The role involves monitoring and maintaining plant performance, ensuring safe operation and adherence to process requirements.

Applicants should have proven plant operator experience in the water sector, a valid CSCS card, and the ability to manage logs, records and liaison with clients and engineers across project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as a skilled plant operator in water or construction environments.
• Ability to monitor process performance and maintain accurate records.
• Strong communication with clients, suppliers and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the plant's processes and operating performance daily.
• Record and review process parameters and chemical usage.
• Monitor equipment and dosing systems, recalibrate instruments as required.
• Maintain daily operation logs and report to commissioning engineer.
• Liaise with client, suppliers and the project team.
• Attend meetings with United Utilities and project stakeholders.
• Order chemicals and consumables and receive deliveries safely.
• Support plant shutdowns and access arrangements as needed.
