Job summary

Acorn Recruitment is seeking an experienced Plant Operator for a wastewater treatment project in Oswestry, under the United Utilities framework. You will monitor and maintain plant performance, operate process equipment, and ensure safe delivery on construction sites.

The role requires a CSCS card and proven plant operation experience in the water sector, with strong documentation and liaison skills for interaction with clients and teams.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required.
• Experience as a skilled plant operator.
• Experience in water sector construction environments.
• Proven track record of delivering schemes safely.

Responsibilities

• Monitor plant processes and operating performance daily.
• Record and review process parameters and chemical dosing.
• Maintain plant equipment and recalibrate instruments as needed.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and project teams.
• Attend meetings with United Utilities and stakeholders.
• Assist with shutdowns and access arrangements as required.
