Wastewater Operative (HGV2) – Shift Work + Overtime

Lanes Group is recruiting for a shift-based role based at Rochdale WWTW, supporting United Utilities on the Bucket 1 reactive contract. You will work with a UU Customer Support Technician to inspect and clear sewer networks, using CCTV and high-pressure jetting equipment.

The position involves 42.5 hours per week across 8am-6pm and 12pm-10pm shifts, including weekends and bank holidays. Salary ranges £34,269-£38,542 per annum, with overtime paid at time and a half.

Competenze

• HGV Class 2 (C) is required.
• Desirable: NRSWA - Sign, Lighting, Guarding; CPC.
• Desirable: High pressure water jetting; Confined spaces; Emergency First Aid at work; Manual Handling.

Mansioni

• Clean, camera and carry out sewer investigations as directed by United Utilities.
• Attend to customers, inform of works and answer concerns and timescales.
• Inspect and investigate drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks or damage.
• Carry out all aspects of high pressure water jetting.
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear blockages in drains and sewers.
• Carry out CCTV inspections to assess underground pipes and sewers.
