Lanes Group's Sapphire Utility Solutions is recruiting an Operations Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across Yorkshire Water Delivery Frameworks in Bradford. You will drive proactive wastewater maintenance programmes and support reactive resilience activities, ensuring safety, compliance, and service excellence.

The role works with Project Managers and teams to optimise resource use, deliver on time and budget, and develop a high‑performing culture across departments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager or senior leadership role.
• Experience managing large-scale operational programmes and field teams.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good commercial and financial awareness with budget experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of wastewater maintenance programmes, ensuring targets for time, cost, quality, safety, and compliance.
• Work with planning and operations to optimise resources and scheduling across multiple projects.
• Coordinate resilience and reactive response activities to maintain service delivery.
• Ensure all works meet client requirements and industry best practices.
• Monitor performance and drive improvements for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Manage operational budgets and control costs through collaboration with commercial teams.
• Develop, coach and lead Project Managers, Supervisors and on-site teams.
