WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Wastewater Network Modeller (Assistant to Principal) to develop, analyse, and maintain hydraulic models supporting asset performance and feasibility studies.

You will provide input on urban drainage and wastewater projects, support feasibility studies, and prepare reports and drawings while coordinating field work and client engagements. This role offers a hybrid model with remote and office days and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, environmental science, geography, or related discipline.
• Chartered membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g. ICE/CIWEM) or working toward chartership.
• Sound knowledge of urban drainage modelling and ability to validate technical outputs.
• Extensive experience with hydraulic modelling software, particularly InfoWorks ICM or similar.
• Familiarity with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or MapInfo.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical input on urban drainage and wastewater projects.
• Support development of feasibility studies and optimisation of asset performance using network models.
• Prepare reports and supporting drawings.
• Define work required by field investigation teams.
• Maintain client relationships, coordinate project meetings.
• Contribute to team knowledge through sharing and training.
• Promote WSP brand at industry forums and conferences.
