Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in wastewater modelling.
• Experience using hydraulic modelling tools such as InfoWorks ICM.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex data and turn insights into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
• Relevant technical qualification in engineering, environmental science, geography, maths or similar.
• Either recently chartered or working toward professional chartership.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and maintain hydraulic models of wastewater networks and treatment systems.
• Analyse operational, GIS, and asset data to understand network behaviour and highlight risks.
• Support planning, design, and regulatory programmes through evidence based modelling outputs.
• Work with engineering, operations, and environmental teams to address flooding, pollution, infiltration, capacity constraints, and resilience issues.
• Translate modelling outputs into clear, practical recommendations for technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in modelling processes, tools, and data quality.
