Job summary

AtkinsRéalis UK Water is seeking Wastewater Hydraulic Modellers across our UK offices to support client requirements and delivery on water and drainage projects. Join a large, multi-disciplinary team of engineers, modellers, GIS specialists and technicians delivering to water companies, local authorities and developers.

You will work on feasibility studies, build and calibrate hydraulic models using InfoWorks ICM, analyze data and contribute to reports and tender responses.

Qualifications

• Experience/awareness of urban drainage modelling within InfoWorks ICM (or CS).
• Familiarity with GIS packages (ARC/MapInfo) is beneficial.
• Experience in drainage and wastewater modelling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop computer models to investigate water network issues and investment needs.
• Analyse data and support engineering solutions for clients.
• Contribute to reports, tender responses and fee estimates.
• Prepare and adhere to health and safety risk assessments.
• Supervise and develop staff and support professional development.
• Contribute towards technical innovation and quality assurance.
