Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Edinburgh is seeking an experienced Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to join our UK Water team. You will develop computer models to investigate water network issues, analyse data and contribute to project deliverables.

You will prepare health and safety risk assessments, support tender responses and fee estimates, and help foster technical innovation within a collaborative, flexible, hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding UK Water Industry and regulatory issues.
• Experience in wastewater modelling and distribution networks.
• Building and calibrating network models.
• Using network models for planning, operations and solution development.
• Experience with InfoWorks ICM (or CS) and other modelling software.

Responsibilities

• Develop computer models to investigate water network issues and investment needs and generation of outline solutions.
• Analyse data.
• Support development of reports and other project deliverables.
• Prepare (and adhere to) health and safety risk assessments.
• Support in the development of tender responses and fee estimates.
• Contributing towards technical innovation.
