Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking Wastewater Hydraulic Modellers across its UK offices. You will develop computer models to assess water networks, analyse data and advise on asset investments, and help prepare reports and tenders. The role offers hybrid working and opportunities to mentor colleagues while delivering technically sound projects.

You should have experience with InfoWorks ICM (or CS), GIS tools, and a solid understanding of UK water industry context, with scope to progress to senior roles.

Qualifications

• Understanding of UK Water Industry and regulatory issues.
• Experience in Wastewater modelling and distribution networks.
• Building and calibrating network models.
• Using network models for planning, operational and solution development purposes.
• Experience with InfoWorks ICM (or CS) and other modelling software.

Responsibilities

• Develop computer models to investigate water network issues and investment needs.
• Analyse data and support engineering solutions and client advice.
• Contribute to reports and project deliverables with clear findings.
• Prepare and adhere to health and safety risk assessments.
• Support tender responses and fee estimates at higher grades.
• Supervise and mentor staff and contribute to professional development.
• Contribute to technical innovation and best-practice approaches.
