Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Group in Bristol is seeking a Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to join our UK Water team. You will develop computer models, investigate flooding and environmental problems, and support our clients with clear deliverables.

Entry level candidates with good analytical skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with InfoWorks ICM, GIS tools, and data handling will help, and you’ll receive mentorship to grow toward professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in wastewater modelling or hydraulic modelling is desirable.
• Analytical mindset with ability to learn and adapt to new tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop computer models to investigate flooding and environmental problems.
• Build, verify and analyse hydraulic sewer models outputs.
• Develop 1D and 2D models to investigate flood risk and mechanisms.
• Handle data and perform analysis.
• Use GIS software to support understanding of complex environmental problems.
• Produce reports and project deliverables.
• Plan and supervise surveys.
• Support junior team members to solve environmental problems.
