Job summary

AECOM Infrastructure and Environment UK Limited is seeking a Graduate Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to join our Water team. You can be based in one of our UK offices with a flexible hybrid working model from the outset.

You will deliver hydraulic modelling on wastewater projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and work toward Chartership with a relevant professional institution. Experience with Infoworks ICM is preferred and encouraged.

Qualifications

• Deliver: Work on hydraulic modelling from model build to development of catchment-scale solutions for flooding and pollution risks.
• Technical Expertise: Understand sewer networks and hydraulics; proficient with hydraulic modelling packages including Infoworks ICM.
• Documentation: Prepare and review technical reports and communicate modelling findings clearly.
• Working towards Chartership with a relevant Professional Institution.

Responsibilities

• Deliver: Work on all aspects of hydraulic modelling from model build and verification of sewer networks to integrated model development, scoping and planning surveys, including development of catchment scale strategic solutions for flooding and pollution risks.
• Technical Expertise: Problem solve for our Clients, with an understanding of sewer networks, hydraulics in the sewerage system and have a keen eye for detail. Experience in using hydraulic modelling packages including Infoworks ICM.
• Documentation: Prepare and review technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate modelling findings effectively using strong communication skills.
• Working towards Chartership with a relevant Professional Institution
