Job summary

AECOM is looking for a Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to join our Water Team. You can be based in our UK or Ireland offices and benefit from a flexible hybrid working model.

You will contribute to major water projects across the UK and internationally, delivering flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, and hydraulic models with a collaborative, cross-disciplinary approach. Qualifications

• Deliver: Work on all aspects of hydraulic modelling from model build and verification of sewer networks to integrated model development, scoping and planning surveys, including development of catchment scale strategic solutions for flooding and pollution risks.
• Technical Expertise: Problem solve for our Clients, with an understanding of sewer networks, hydraulics in the sewerage system and have a keen eye for detail. Experience in using hydraulic modelling packages including Infoworks ICM.
• Documentation: Prepare and review technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate modelling findings effectively using strong communication skills.
• Working towards Chartership with a relevant Professional Institution

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality hydraulic models for Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies across UK and beyond.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate modelling with wider design and infrastructure solutions.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings clearly to clients and stakeholders
