Job summary

United Utilities is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Wastewater Strategy team in Warrington. You will transform complex operational data into meaningful insights that influence decisions across our wastewater network.

This role goes beyond dashboards, requiring you to interrogate large datasets, identify trends and present clear, evidence-based recommendations to senior leaders. You’ll combine advanced Excel, GIS, and analytical methods to explore regulatory measures, flooding

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and reporting.
• Experience with GIS and geospatial data to support analysis.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear insights for stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and independent analytical approach.
• Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel to operational sites.

Responsibilities

• Analysing large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Interrogating complex business questions and selecting analytical approaches.
• Exploring data from multiple perspectives to tell the story behind the numbers.
• Producing analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
