Job summary

Veolia is seeking a operator at Blue Haze Landfill in Ringwood, Hampshire, working 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri 7:15am-4:15pm) with alternate Saturdays. The role involves safe operation of heavy mobile plant and routine site duties at a Waste & Landfill site in Ringwood.

You will perform daily checks, manage waste handling, and help maximise outgoing weights, with training provided. Overtime may be available, and Veolia offers a comprehensive benefits package including pension and health resources.

Qualifications

• Similar operational manual handling experience.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of heavy mobile plant at the landfill, transfer station & IBA facilities.
• Daily operator checks and handling of waste.
• Maximise outgoing vehicle weights.
• Routine site maintenance and cleaning of the facility.
