Job summary

Envar is seeking a Plant Operator to operate mobile plant at our Blaise Farm Quarry site in West Malling, Kent. The role requires safe operation of 360 machinery, adherence to H&S policies, and strong teamwork to keep site operations efficient.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years 360 driving experience, good communication, and the flexibility to work extended hours across 50 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. Environmental and safety responsibilities are a core focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years 360 driving experience.
• Safe operation of mobile plant.
• Good communication.
• Able to work safely and follow H&S policy and procedures.
• Experience in the Waste Industry (Desirable).
• Tickets for mobile and/or fixed plant (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to maintain safe and efficient site operations.
• Conduct daily and weekly checks, refuelling, lubrication and greasing; report defects.
• Report accidents, near misses and environmental hazards to supervisor.
• Follow site rules, H&S regulations and safe systems of work.
• Maintain a tidy, safe working environment and clear access to walkways.
