Job summary

SUEZ is hiring at its Barnstaple site. You will help the public use the site effectively to maximise material recovery while joining a supportive site team. The role emphasizes safe, efficient operations and active contribution to continuous improvement in waste handling and site upkeep.

You will maintain records, deliver strong customer service, and coordinate container logistics to keep space available for processing and storage. A flexible approach is valued.

Qualifications

• We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach.
• A strong focus on health and safety is essential.
• Experience in waste or high-volume production is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Advise and assist the public on how to use the site to maximise material recovery.
• Maintain accurate records for removal of materials from the site.
• Provide excellent levels of customer service.
• Coordinate container exchanges by booking loads to ensure space for segregation and storage.
• Maintain a tidy site within your areas of responsibility.
• Carry out other duties as reasonably requested within the scope of the role.
