Job summary

Folkestone & Hythe District Council, in partnership with Dover District Council, is seeking a Contract Management Officer on a maternity cover basis. The role involves monitoring contractor performance for waste services and street cleansing across two districts, with a hybrid working pattern and one day per week in Dover.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, well organised, and capable of building strong relationships within the team and with external partners.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and able to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships within the team and wider organisation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day delivery and standards achieved by the partner contractor.
• Implement measures to ensure performance improvement and enhancements where necessary.
• Support Recycling & Waste Collections and Street Cleansing services across the two Districts.
