Job summary

VN Appointments is seeking a Recycling Officer for a 6-month temporary assignment on site at the Clacton office, working five days a week.

You will monitor the waste and recycling contractor, engage with customers and contractors to promote recycling, and audit bin stores while supporting food waste collection provisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in waste management is essential.
• Outstanding communication skills are required.
• Ability to develop excellent working relationships with contractors and residents.
• Full driving licence is essential and access to a personal vehicle.

My Client is seeking a Recycling Officer for a 6 month temporary assignment.

You will be based on site 5 days per week at their Clacton office.

• Daily compliance monitoring of the waste and recycling contractor
• Customer and contractor engagement and education to promote all aspects of recycling and waste minimisation
• Attending meetings with contractors
• Auditing of communal bin stores sites and installation of additional recycling provisions, customer engagement and education
• Introducing, supporting and promoting food waste collection provisions to communal properties
• Container deliveries to households
• Handling public contact via telephone and emails, as well as undertaking administrative and operational tasks to support the effective and efficient operation of the waste and recycling service
